# Know Your Cru > Know Your Cru is an independent wine-learning project. Visual wine maps and focused explanations connect place, grapes and winemaking to wine style. Its official website is https://knowyourcruwine.com/. The audience includes curious wine drinkers, learners who know the basics, and people who sell or serve wine. Current regional coverage is Bordeaux, Northern Rhône and Southern Rhône. The website offers regional guides, a free three-question learning sample and previews of original study maps. Map review edition 0.2 is dated 13 October 2026. Map and product previews remain under factual and print review; the website has no shop, checkout, accredited course or claimed awarding-body endorsement. Maps are educational generalisations, not legal boundaries or planted-vineyard extent. Regional patterns do not describe every bottle. ## Regional guides - [Bordeaux wine guide](https://knowyourcruwine.com/guides/bordeaux): Left Bank, Right Bank, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and blending, with regional sources. - [Northern Rhône wine guide](https://knowyourcruwine.com/guides/northern-rhone): Syrah, Viognier and the importance of site and winemaking, with regional sources. - [Southern Rhône wine guide](https://knowyourcruwine.com/guides/southern-rhone): Grenache, blending partners and variation in growing conditions, with regional sources. ## Website and sources - [Know Your Cru home](https://knowyourcruwine.com/): Brand, audience, region exploration, free sample, collection previews and frequently asked questions. - [Map sources and limitations](https://knowyourcruwine.com/assets/map-source-notes.txt): Original layout and open-geodata attribution, review status and map limitations.
